There are 2 ways to buy the ticket: through a travel agency or on your own at the following link: www.machupicchu.gob.pe
At the moment of buying the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu you can add one of the mountains Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu, depending on the quotas. Because spaces are limited.
Huaynapicchu Mountain Ticket:
For the mountain huaynapicchu, 400 people per day climb in 2 schedules:
- First group from 7 to 8 am 200 people.
- Second group from 9 to 10 am 200 people.
Difficulty level: Medium High.
The travel time to this mountain is between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours round trip depending on how you walk, the highest point of this mountain is 2700 meters above sea level. This road to huaynapicchu is steeper and narrower. If you want to climb this mountain between the months of April and November you must make the reservation at least 2 months in advance (the sooner the better). Because in these months tourism rises in Cusco for being dry season and the tourist influx is enough. If you make the reservation between December and March you can get a quota even 2 weeks before. but it is rainy season and the weather is unpredictable, it is usually rainy and cloudy.

For the Machupicchu mountain, 700 people per day climb in 2 schedules:
- First group from 7 to 8 a.m. 350 people
- Second group from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 350 people
Difficulty Level: High
The travel time to this mountain is between 3 and a half hours to 4 hours round trip depending on how you walk the highest point is 3080 meters above sea level. To climb this mountain you have to be in good physical condition, the road is longer and a little wider than the huaynapicchu, once at the top you can see the entire Andes mountain range.
You can get a quota to this mountain up to a week before having more capacity it is advisable to climb it between the months of April and November.

When you bought your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu, including any of the Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountains, you practically bought another ticket.
